More good news, Adam Pearson speaking to BBC Radio Yorkshire has said that Leeds United will own their own ground within the next year...

Well.... As you know Cellino promising this last year and failing to deliver was a real negative for me. Pearson is the one who spoke about it this time, I don't believe he would risk his reputation unless wheels were in motion <ok>

Once Cellino owns it he'll probably knock down the existing barn and build a decent footy stadium, something like a NEW New Den. Trouble is, he won't have decent players to staff it.

Supposed to happen last November, but when you find out that GFH would benefit in a massive way you can understand why Cellino didn't do it. Because GFH own 25% of the club still, the value of their shares would rocket as soon as Cellino bought the stadium with his own money. GFH in theory should be 25% but they wouldn't so Cellino had to try and restructure their shareholding. Buying back ER would double the price of the club

If we did that, where would the other 40,000 fans go?

I genuinely believe things are looking better, we didn't raid the Italian B league this time, we spent some money and have held on to our better players, backroom staff look decent and as things stand we are in a better shape than 12 months back.

I don't think we are good enough for top 6 but we shouldn't be far off, the rest were a long way ahead so we needed to play catch up. I would still prefer Cellino to sell up, I still fear about him being unstable and know one bad weekend and he could sweep the lot out and sell the better players but...

I will enjoy things as they stand today, a steady start is all I expect and I think we can start with a win tomorrow <ok>

Stop it Ristac, I can't take all this positive stuff, I agree with you though. It's the first time in years since I've felt this happy regarding the start of a season. Burnley certainly aren't the team from last season(on paper anyway) and I hope we can get an early goal in the first 20 mins which will settle us down and lead to a good win...LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS

Shaks is always happy at this stage before the season starts, he just can't remember he was always happy <cheers>

Lets hope the wheels don't fall off if we get beat tomoz. I think this match will be tight and will be a battle of wits between the 2 coaches. Dyche is probably destined for big things and Rosler was destined for big things but came unstuck at Wigan.

    i agree 100%
The problem is we have a really difficult start and if we dont sit in the top 10 by the end of September we all know Cellino will throw the toys out and we will be back to square 1.
