CITY midfielder Jacob Butterfield has had his loan at Crystal Palace extended until March 17. Butterfield has made five appearances for the promotion chasing Eagles, including their 4-1 win over Middlesbrough at Selhurst Park last Saturday. It is his second spell out on-loan following an initial spell with npower Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers, making eight appearances for Dougie Freedman's side. Good news for him I reckon as he is unlikely to get much chance here at the moment. Anyone know how he has been doing at Palace? They obviously think enough of him to extend the loan and it does seem like he has been getting some game time.
Zogean, you're killing me. Supposed to be doing some work and seeing the words football manager is distracting me Anyway, I hope the lad gets some game time next year, must be a hugely frustrating year for him. Played for three clubs now and never really got into to full rhythm, hope he does at Palace, I would rather we just loaned him out for the rest of the season.
i don't know what to make of the situation. from all i hear, and i don't live that far from Barnsley so come across a few of their fans,he has the ability to make it in the big time. but for some reason he is not getting a chance at City. i would presume that he is totally over his injury now, so he may come back from this latest loan and be included in the squad. unless he is not in our 25 or is he still young enough to be exempt?
