All the rumours being bandied around are all very well and good but the burning question is will Nicky agree to any of them.?

Looking at the potential suitors makes me question his burning desire to play in the premiership at the level on offer. It`s good to see some of us getting excited with the possible players to be included in some of the deals and the belief that they could offer something better to BCFC.

Nicky has taken his contractual dispute to the end of acceptability in most of our eyes and I can`t see him offering us any olive branches at this late point. So, come on Nicky pick your poison and let`s all move on and I hope that you don`t end up regretting your desire.

The time has come for your next move!

Just made a similar point mike, career wise Swansea or fulham seem to be the best moves for Maynard based on their style of play. Cant see the point of him moving to norwich wolves or west brom all potential yo yo clubs. Totally agree though you asked for a move Mr Maynard time to make your choice!

As I've said before, if Nicky is holding out for a Chelsea or Man U to come calling for his signature then he's in for a very long wait indeed because frankly IMO they never will.

If he's sensible enough to realise that at the moment the best he can probably hope for is a Fulham, Swansea, Bolton, Wolves etc coming in for him and he's happy with the prospect of almost immediate relegation back to the Championship then fine. Even at the aforementioned teams I don't believe he'll be guaranteed a starting place every week, it's a big step and I think he's also over rated and will get found out in the Prem.

If he really believes a big team will come in for him then he could end up on the proverbial shelf for another 6 months and go for nothing in the summer, and still end up plying his trade in the Championship.

The problem he has is proving he's good enough for the Prem......I think he is..but for the first year he could be warming the bench more often than not.
If he is warming the bench he maybe asked to go out on loan.
Unless you are outstanding in your field it could be " it's better the devil you know"

    Think he should stay!!!!!

i think there are a few clubs in for him,i would imagine he will be speaking with all to see what he can get.

But this is the level of clubs that will show interest, always going to be low level prem sides, hopefully he makes his mind up and the club can move on.:steam:

If Everton are interested but have no money, what do you think is going through his mind?
Join a team that would possibly be fighting relegation or wait till the summer and join a team for free that is mid to high league positions most years.
I want him to go now so we have some sort of deal out of it, but footballers don't think like we do

Given a decent supply, Nicky can finish - that's good enough for a start in teams of any level. You just can't teach that sort of thing...

Another possibility is Nicky singing this well known tune, "I still haven't found what I'm looking for". U2 Nicky.

Should there be no offers acceptable to all parties perhaps he should re-sign for 2 years with clear get-out clauses and then get his finger out and prove that his dream is more realistic than at present.

    Interesting, very interesting!

Guess questions also are would he join a Championship team like Southampton or West Ham who are likely to play in the prem next season or join a team who are fighting relegation and might be in the championship next season. Guess its a case of how desperate he is to play in the prem this season or wait and go with a team who will be there next season and have a better chance of first team football.
