I thought my burger had been cooked on a George Foreman grill; turns out they were the marks from the jockey's whip....

Nice walk in the hills, local meal of heavy cheese polenta grilled small birds (bones, beak and all) washed down with local red, nothing flash. Excellent.

Also really hankering after a horse steak.....interesting nobody could tell the difference from beef, they have to do tests. Just a bit leaner, as far as I remember.

Whatever next? First horse meat found in Tesco burgers, now camel toe found in Primark leggings...

I thought Hulse went out to Millwall, not the knackers yard?

Went shopping today and there was the chicken, beef, pork and horse meat all on the shelves next to each other...did make me wonder what all the fuss is about or am I missing something?

The French eat horse, and snails, and frogs. We don't, or at least we didn't think we did!

Is that the only problem? There's nothing dodgy about the meat?

Thats the million dollar question. If a meat supplier is prepared to pass off horsemeat as beef, why would't they cut corners in other ways? Not sure the govenment will want the whole, adulterated truth to come out, might lead to a run on quorn!
