This whole saga simply comes down to two paths IMO:

    1) NM waits for a PL club to come in for him – if this means running his contract down and hoping one makes a move either this month, January or next summer then so be it.
    2) He signs a contract with either LCFC or BCFC (obvious I know): but BCFC offer further stability, loyalty to the fans and a city he is happy to live in. LCFC offer much higher wages, higher number of fans week in week out, a team with clear signs of ambition (shown by the huge spending this summer), a world class manager and according to the bookies are second favourites to get promoted. To me, although biased, it seems quite logical for LCFC to edge the battle. Yes promotion can’t be guaranteed – but I didn’t say that. I said most neutrals would say LCFC have an increased chance of promotion over BCFC.

I personally couldn’t care less anymore – I don’t think any PL team will make a move for him. £5.5M on an untested, injury prone striker – only the big hitting PL could afford to take such a gamble, and those teams would look for better quality players.

I would be if you would carer to reveal more information.

What i would say is that we are paying Matt Mills an alleged weekly wage of around £30,000! I would be genuinely surprised if BC got anywhere enar half of that amount!
