Well he wasn't responsible for them all, and as I say I think managers should take less **** in the modern game. Scouts are paid to find the best possible options for a budget. Managers just pick the one they want and sign off. Obviously Rafa and McClaren can't have it all ways. They also shouldn't get the credit for the like Mitrovic, Mbemba, Gini, Lejeune, Schar, Rondon etc. Only partial - say 25%. Our scouts found these players. If people want to make excuse for them fair enough, personally I think that is really **** work. Like I say not every signing works out but that is a lot of money wasted when you're on tight budgets.
I think my main problem is I'd struggle to term any of those players footballers. For instance who thought Jacob Murphy looked like a footballer? Or Yedlin? Its a bit of a joke that the scouts found them and the managers signed off on them. They don't even address a football with any culture when kicking it nevermind having a footballing brain.
It's all just a fairly obvious recipe for disaster, as usual. There's enough in the squad to get to 17th. Same as the last 14 years, the question is, will we?
I disagree im sure he's been in conversations and ha been told the sane thing as he's put out to us. Basically unless a loan becomes available last minute because another side brings in someone and is desperate to move a player on we're done The rest is fair comment
Bruce is best mates with Charnley/Ashley, he knows exactly what's going on. I called it early in the week, I knew there'd be nothing happening because Bruce wasn't crowing about it or pulling our "irons in fire" type cliches.

Our only single remaining hope is that this legal claim is as reported to gain a change of ownership... We have to pray to God that we stay up for that to even still be on the table even if it still is.. I firmly believe Bruce is in the last few months of his tenure... He will not turn it around, it isn't a plan in progress and Ashley isn't stupid... He knows how much Bruce's had and he knows he needs the club to stay up.

Hasn't he always done "ok" in his 1st season then it go to ****, everywhere he's been? I remember a mackem saying something like that so not a very reliable source but makes sense
