Wow what a game to look forward to. So many connotations can happen from the games this Tuesday. Town had a fantastic game on Saturday, probably in the top five or so that I've watched it in recent years. I'm guessing we'll start with a similar squad and formation. Bury need to win to further secure their league position so the pressure is on them to attack. Town need a win and Southend to lose to secure an automatic promotion place. Its be nice that we can gain auto at home on Saturday. Town and Exeter had the best form in recent games and look what happened. Town remain top of the form table. Stick your thoughts and comments on the game below. Anyone going can you tweet info or a picture would be good. Floreat Salopia.
Not going but I suspect a really testing night and would be happy with a draw and then we could seal promotion with a win on Saturday. With Goldson and Woods still suspended that means 4-4-2 is highly likely again so lets hope it works as well as it did on Saturday. Nice to hear from you again Rocky - us, Burton and Wycombe have been the three best teams in this league all season and we all deserve to go up automatically.
Good luck tonight fellas. Our team is now straining due to the small squad numbers and injuries, so help us out with a win over Bury!
Unfortunately you did not have a linesman on your side on this occasion. He ruled out a perfectly legal equaliser for Shrewsbury having deemed the ball had gone out of play, when all, inc Bury supporters and players, knew otherwise.
KDS, This looked a shocking decision when I saw it on Sky Sports news this morning (though strangely Alex Greaves in her commentary thought Mangan was playing for Bury!). Also the Wycombe penalty decision was a complete joke - their player stopped (until the Exeter player got the minimal contact) and then went down theatrically. Well never mind - I suspect any of us would have taken the position we are in now at the start of the season and one more win will probably be enough. If we are promoted before the final game I might pop down the road to Northampton instead on the final day as their game against Wycombe should be an absolute cracker.
