Well done to Burton just proves that we have a chance of doing something similar again and Burton have done it without money but with of team spirit.
I like your thinking but I would be very happy with 12th-17th finish with the squad we got. I may change my opinion depending on what signings we get to strengthen. I cant see all players staying with us as some contracts we will offer may only be 6 month deals like we did with Balanta who said no and move up to Carlisle. I think so will decide togo to seek longer deals elsewhere so our signings will need to be good.

Interesting interview with Matty Taylor on the BBC News at about 6-00, When he was asked about keeping the squad together by Alistair Durden he said it would be good if they were all here but when asked if he would be here he gave a very non committal answer
He cant commit yet. His agent is looking for the best deal. I think he wants to stay but he now holds all the cards.
I think DC gets the best out of Matty Taylor. Other managers would probably drop him if he didn't score for a few games. DC's always kept faith in him and Taylor has then rewarded the faith. If his heart and soul isn't with Rovers, then he needs to move on asap because having an unsettled player around just unsettles everyone else, and even if he decides to stay now he may move on in January.
