After some thought I have to agree with SOD on this one.. He is only 17 years old, a relegation battle, which it was always inevitably going to be would have done him no good at all. He wont get on tonight but as soon as we are confirmed as relegated I reckon he'll get some game time. He gets a fresh start next year, no blame attached..
I agree also Banksy but at one point we had 1 fit striker at the club. Why call him back now when he might as well finish the season with FGR when we have 4 strikers available.
True enough. But I reckon he'll get a run when we are confirmed as gone.. (possibly tonight!) Would not be at all surprised to see Taylor / Burns tried out one game.
'Would not be at all surprised to see Taylor / Burns tried out one game' - Nor me, could be the front pairing next season. I'd have like to have seen Reid back from Oldham as well, much prefer to see him than Kilkenny or Howard.
How can you say that about Kilkenny and Howard they are like Iniesta and Zavi don't you know anything
Be glad when Kilkenny and pearson go. Don't offer much, Pearson only wants to play in the big games and he's probably one of the only players on the pitch that you forget is there because he has such little effect.
' The 17-year-old has enjoyed six outings and a goal during his temporary spell at the Blue Square Bet Premier club. However, the Gloucestershire side can no longer qualify for end-of-season play-offs.' He's better off back with his own people...
Don't worry Shiny.........it will be a complete clear out in the close season bar about 3 players. Get your tissues out for Marv mate.........
I think Pearson will do ok in L1, as will Kelly. I worry about who else will make up our midfield next season.
No such luck, they are contracted to 2014, someone has to want them and with the FFP coming in, there are going to be a LOT of unemployed footballers this summer... Must admit I was fairly neutral up to now about Kilkenny but he was a disgrace tonight..
