It looks like Vokes will be out for the rest of the season and Ings is still out injured. I hope Burnley don't fall at the last fence due to injuries, I would feel really sorry for them if they did as they've been fantastic all season, but they have relied on Vokes and Ings for goals, their going to be a big miss for them, as we saw on Saturday.

Am I wrong for hoping they do so we can get some of their players for cheap?

No offense to De Laet but I'd rather have Trippier and either of Vokes or Ings would do us well in the Premier League...

Ings will be back before the end of the season, Vokes may not even make a recovery for the start of the new season if he has an anterior cruciate (spelling) injury, thats a 6 month jobby from what I remember.

It was reportedly about 3 weeks for Ings so he should be back pretty soon. It could be 6 - 12 mths for Vokes.
They have had a few others chipping in with goals & hopefully their 9 point gap will see them over the line.

There's more support on here for Burnley than the Burnley board

Ashley Barnes is a pretty decent centre forward at this level too, don't quite know why they've been going on so much about Burnley's complete lack of strength in depth.

There's more chance of Redknapp signing a decent player for once than there is of QPR catching Burnley.(though Im sure you know that!) Said you would get to play offs though only to end in heartbreak with Derby winning them

I think they will be fine ... mainly because the points cushion will be pretty hard to close given the inconsistent form of those chasing ... Marney is a huge factor - him and Ings coming back soon should see them OK ...
