Marvin Bartley faces late fitness test Leeds United Tom Lees a major doubt Peltier expected to partner Pearce at centre of defence Dangermen Burnley Charlie Austin- With 19 goals this season and 16 of them coming in the championship, expect the the 23 year old to cause a few problems for the Leeds back four. Chris Mccann- The 25 year old midfielder has been important for Burnley this season, 3 goals in 12 appearances from the midfield position the battle between him and Austin will be one to watch. Leeds United Luciano Becchio- Even though he hasn't been on top form this season he's still managing to score goals, and whilst ever he scores he will be a constant threat for any defence within this league. El Hadj Diouf- Rumours of him rejecting a new contract at Elland Road are about however I expect him to stay and he will be the difference between promotion and mid table. Even on off days he looks highly dangerous and easily one of the best wingers in the Championship. Enochs Eleven PK SB LP JP AD RH RA DN MT EHD LB Enochs Prediction Burnley have a new manager in Sean Dyche and in his first match they got an impressive result by beating Wolves by two goals to nil. Leeds haven't been on the best run performance wise and got a draw against Brighton on Friday night. I believe we should have released Ryan Hall on Friday night and this time I believe no different. We need pace in the team and someone to take on players and deliver balls to Becchio. Usually I feel slightly confident going into most matches and believe we could win but with recent performances I'm slightly weary. There's also the problem of us and Tuesday nights. Burnley 1-1 Leeds United Over to the Elland Road and Burnley faithful, Keep the banter flowing. Enoch X
Good shout on team selection - will be interesting to see how the CB pairing works. May be an improvement. Another thought is Thompson at RBack, with Sam Byram going RMid. Goes withot saying, we need to contain Charlie Austin.
I remember there was a lot of ill feeling between the clubs when Revie was in charge but generally we do well at Burnley. They once played us with the smallest forward line in the league the tallest player was 5foot 7 I think his name was Newlands.Pointer was away on international duties along with Big John oh how we missed him that day result 0-0.Burnley under Bob Lord used to produce great players which in order to survive they had to sell one each season to Manchester U Morgan Connelly spring to mind and Ralph Coates to Spurs Mccilroy to Stoke what a player he was
Great news, especially if Somma can come back half the player he was before his injury. Great finisher. Just hope the injury hasn't ruined him
While they would be useful they really wouldn't get much game time here, best to send them out to get 90mins every week
Leeds United 2-1 Burnley 02/01/2012 Burnley 1-2 Leeds United 19/11/2011 Leeds United 1-0 Burnley 30/04/2011 Burnley 2-3 Leeds United 11/12/2010 Leeds United 1-0 Burnley 14/04/2007 We'll make it 6 in a row tomorrow night.
Watford have completed the double over Millwall in each of the last two seasons, and are pursuing a fifth successive Championship victory over them. If the stats are anything to go by the gap will be 4 points. Then again, think Liverpool were on a 7 match winning streak against Newcastle at Anfield and that came to an end yesterday.
Another tough game where I predict we will be completely outclassed and take the 3 points with two last-ditch goals (as per the last few occasions). Now that I have predicted that, we will probably either trounce them, or Charlie Austin will have scored so many that two last minute goals won't make the slightest dent on the final scoreline
Tonight is certainly one for the goals galore coupon. We have to keep Austin quiet, he's on fire at the minute. Mind you, they might be saying the same about us. Any team news yet? MOT
