I wouldn't have thought a four-goal defeat was wildly negative under the circumstances. I am the only one suspicious about the manner of our defeats, by the way?? The shambles at Millwall, the idiotic nature of some of the goals conceded, the convenient giving away of balls in dangers areas, the ease which opposition crosses are made and completed, the soft late goals... Does anyone sniff a betting scandal, or are they really that bad?

right 1-0 Burnley I presume we're playing 4-5-1 Kennedy holding Murphy LM + Bowyer RM. You HAVE to be brave and go for Burnley at half time with changes Jewell. The best way to beat them is ATTACK. They threw it away v Leeds last time and are dodgy as hell at the back. In my eyes you have 45 minutes to save your job 6 defeats on the spin and I've certainly had enough of you. Get Carson on half time, and go for it.
Hanging Hog was right! A good first three minutes forcing two corners, now itâs 1-0, another headed goal from a corner and them on 10 goal attempts (7 on target) and us 2 (both on target). Iâm so proud of this team!

christ I ruled out 4-0 idiotically....!!!! Seriously Jewell, sort this out. Burnley HAVE some good players, but so do we ! Why the hell are you playing this for a " midfield !? " Nothing wrong with Kennedy holding with Bullard + Andrews playing, with Carson / Martin playing off the striker. Or one of the 2 of them playing, with Murphy off or something. But this midfield is beyond a joke. What does Bullard have movement wise !!? Nothing. Make changes half time. Or go, simple.

I said we wouldn't concede 4 tonight !!!! I do miss Royle's days. Yes we couldn't defend but regardless of home / away / opposition he ALWAYS ALWAYS went for it. Royle had faith in his players to go out and play. I used to really love going along to watching us. As I said in an earlier post, I'm so glad I'm not there tonight. A 440 mile round trip from Bristol to watch that sort of line up playing uninspiring try not to lose nick the odd goal, no thank you. Done it before......... !
