This is a very very important week for Del and his chargers

    -------------------------------------------------heaton-------------------------------------------------------

    ------------------Foster------------------Carey------MaManus---------------M Wilson----------------------

    -------adomah---Elliott[STILL NOT FIT] Pearson ---Skuse---------------Anderson--------------------

    --------------------------------------------Stead-----------Davies-------------------------------------------

    Subs

    Gerkin
    Baldock
    Pitman
    Wilson
    Bryan

I have dropped Baldock for one reason he is not scoring at the minute,I reckon Stead will hold the ball up and try and keep the ball at the right end of the pitch for longer.
Please play Anderson on the wing and forget your differences the lad looks good when he has played.

Del play the players in their right positions, don't do a Millen and play players out of position.

No Elliott again so have gone with Pearson just over Morris.

    Heaton

    Foster Wilson McManus Fontaine

    Adomah Skuse Elliott Anderson

    Baldock Davies

Fontaine played better at left back than he has all season so decided to keep him there and obvious del won't drop him, skuse and Elliott in midfield is a no Brainer McInnes!!!!! Don't player Pearson! Kept baldock upfront with Davies as they need to gel and they are our 2 best strikers, Sam had a few chances yesterday and on another would of scored.

We could do with 4 points at least from these 2 upcoming home games. Both are winnable

    ...................Heaton.....................
    Foster.....J.Wilson...McManus.... Fontaine
    Adomah...Skuse...Davies....Bryan.
    ..............Baldock .. Taylor..............

This team selection could easily go 4-3-3 if it needed to during the match.

    Subs
Gerken, M Wilson, Carey, Reid, Elliott, Pittman, Stead

Until McInnes is able to pair Skuse and Elliott in CM and Cunningham returns to LB we'll be lucky to get anything out of ANY game.

How many times have I got to say it - Elliott HAS to play to shore up our defence.
I'm even fired up now before the Burnley game because I can't bloody stand watching our powder puffs in midfield.
    They're a sodding disgrace.

McInnes, you haven't been lucky with injuries to our best players but you've taken FAR to long to bolster our defence.

    Remember this as well -

'When Shaun Taylor finished all we did was spend Millions on strikers.
Know Tony Thorpe was one, we bought another and didn't we already have Akynbi.
Not bloody sure, to long ago.

Massive mistake then - is history repeating itself'

My team selection was made on the assumption that Marv will not be considered fit enough to start against Burnley.
If he is, then I would leave Steve Davies up front, instead of Taylor or Baldock? - I'm not sure, and put Marv in midfield with Skuse.

Good point Redprintt about 1997-8 or thereabouts. Worst case scenario is that we could score more goals this season than any year in the Championship since we got back in 2007 and still go down. At the moment even I can't be that pessimistic!

    --------------Tom Heaton-------------------
    Foster-----J Wilson----McManus----Bryan
    Adomah---Skuse---Woolford---Anderson
    ------------Taylor----Davies----------------

Woolford is good at making runs forward and getting up to support the strikers so would like to see him play central. Still would have fonts, I think he may have slight blame for Boltons last goal as it looked like the rest of the defence tried to play off side and he was caught too far back playing their player on side. Sam seems to score more when coming off the bench against a tired defence, Taylor plays well as the target man giving Davies space to work his magic. Bryan should also get to play as he has looked solid for the games he has played full back.
Reid needs to eith ermake the bench or play instead of Woolford.

I am aware that DM team tonight will look probably the same as against Bolton with both Carey and fonts starting.

'Woolford is good at making runs forward'

    So is Mo Farah.

Even with our current injuries playing Woolford at all is questionable.

    Playing him central beggars belief.

The rest of your selection looks ok, I have a feeling/hope Elliott will play tonight.

    Heaton
    Foster Carey McManus Bryan
    Adomah Skuse Elliot/Pearson Anderson
    Baldock Davies

I still think Carey is worth his place,Fonts out and Bryan in,Wooly out and Anderson in,Skusseee and Elliot(if not injured) or Pearson ,keep Sam and Davies up front..

    Thank god I'm not Delboy......
