    Good points
-Nugent and Vardy both scored. Silenced the doubters.
    -Knocks is an absolute boss.
-Morgan is still showing why he's one of the best CB's in the division.
-De Laet had his best game yet
-Drinks was a huge improvement from saturday.
    -Futacs got some game time.
-We dodged a bullet in Stewart.

    Bad points
    -Marshall was ****.
-Vardy was **** (although he worked exceptionally hard).
-Another dog ****e first half performance.

We were always awful in the first half under NP in his first spell. Youd hope he'd have learnt to remedy that situation by now

I would have liked to have seen Danns come on.

Is it so much we are awful in the first halves, or that we're decent in first halves and great in second halves? I mean today, they didn't do much in the first 45 except score what was a bit of a hit-and-hoper. Perhaps Pearson is a tactical genius who knows exactly how to counter-play any team after their battle plan is revealed in the first half!

We really do have to stop conceding though, or we'll never get out of this league.

The last 4 mins was quality. Burnley didn't touch the all at all. They was too busy chasing shadows

    Knockaert- Skills <ok>

    Same

Danns on for James (who I thought was poor last night)
Also would have like to seen Beckford come on instead of waghorn or fuctas (Looks like JB will be off to hudderfield)

I think Kasper stopped us from dropping 2 points

Danns needed to come on, he had to take his chance. Our best CM.

Out of interest, what is it about Danns that you rate?

I like him but I also think he's nowhere near our best cm. His ball retention is poor, his passing is at best hit and miss, he does get stuck in but can be sloppy in the tackle.

I wonder if people rate him simply because of his energy and determination.

For me King and Drinkwater are streets ahead in terms of ability.

I agree with the above - King and Drinkwater are our best CMs.

Best CM at the moment has to be Drinkwater, as he sits back and give the other CM alot more freedom, which is what King thrived on when Wellens did it.

DD is a much better version of Abe and i cant see Wellens taking over when hes fully fit either.

Glad Knockeart got a start last night, i think alot of fans would have been calling for it.

Well its just that, his energy. Im not one of those people who loves all players that run and dislike those that dont, but in CM he gives the opposition so little time on the ball as he is constantly closing them down and last season till he got sent off was our most important player.

BTW I didn't go to the game last night but my mate did and he said that we bossed the entire game - the goal was a "hit and hope" shot that 9 times out of 10 would be knocking out a fan in the stands rather then literally breaking the net.

If his summary is correct then that puts us is good stead.

Yeah he certainly adds some hustle to the middle of the park and I agree that he did well towards the end of last season. Just a shame he was wasted out wide for much of the first half of the season.

I think with the current form of King and DD he may find it hard to establish himself this year.

Im sure he will take his chance if he gets once, he just needs a chance again. I feel something has gone off behind the scenes but we just dont know. There are certain games when we are crying out for real energy in the park.

We need him in games like Wolves last week. Away from home sometimes you just need someone to get stuck in

The funny thing about their goal is that they had two offsides moments before that were about 5 yards onside and then when the ball was played in for the goal the lad wad way offside.

I thought the linesman on that side was ****.

De Laet had him in his back pocket.

All Stewart did was sulk on the wing, he didn't call for the ball or look interested. Whenever he got the ball he tried to do some sort of skill that he couldn't do and he lost the ball.

    In short, he was ****.

I'm sure a few people have thought the same, although is he match fit? Danns was saying last week he's not.
