Welcome to the cynics lounge.. Now, do we want an Albion away win so it pretty much gives us a head-to-head battle with Burnleh for Pl survival? One that I think we'd edge long term or a draw which would put us back in the ottom 3 but leave both clubs vulnerable? I don't see a Burnley win as ideal...
Hard to say...even a Burnley win still leaves us in control as we play 'em at home where the destiny would be in our hands & we could damage them. We've played WBA twice already, so can't impact them ourselves, but 2 points behind them is batter than 3 (slight goal difference disadvantage) or 5 points behind if WBA win today. Think I prefer draw or Burnley win. (plus I've got Burnley to win in the Predictions League )
A draw is probably the best, since Burnley are at Old Trafford next and if we can beat Villa on Tuesday we could be two points up on them.
West Brom all day for me, if we're to stay up then the current bottom 3 are the ones we need to finish above. West Brom will survive fairly comfortably imo.
I would have said a draw as I believe it would be beneficial to have as many teams down here in the muck with us as well. But, we're helpless about it anyway, so I would suggest just enjoying the match. Think Burnley will win, myself.
Don't give a **** about the result. If we take care of **** at our own end & we'll be fine, although a couple of red cards & a few nasty looking injuries could enhance our chances if the **** round our end becomes a little stiff & difficult to get going.
Boyd having a really good game. Still think it was the right move for him though. He was struggling to even get on the bench before he left, and realistically wouldn't be a starter in a fully fit team.
