Nice chatting mighty, got to go and do stuff now, so later... No I'm not going to germany although I hear Bavaria is good in a months time, will you, Ringo, Steve, Brissy and TC be planning a trip ?
Burnley game is an important one for us to win on a psychological level. Right now the lads are probably feeling ashamed, embarrassed and disgusted about that last performance against the oojamaflips. For confidence sake we need to beat Burnley, 2 losses on trot ain't going to do the players confidence much good. The win will instill and boost our confidence as well as getting our spirits back up. With respects to everyone, this attitude of not caring about cup games is wrong in my opinion. Cup game wins breed confidence and high spirits, not to mention money, not only at home, but also in Europe if we can win it. Personally, I think a club, or coach asking / telling the players to forego the cup comps in favour of the league is disgusting, all the players have a right, and deserve to play for the win in the cups, which means fielding a strong team, again, it breeds personal, and team / club confidence, and the fans deserve it too. Personally, I think TC got it wrong against the wotyamacallits, we were being controlled in midfield and TC didn't use his subs appropriately imo. There were no edge of box shots, in fact I think we only had 1 shot that went somewhere it shouldn't have. The instructions for the players seemed to be totally different, and it looked like we were doing a Monk by trying to walk the ball into net. Best thing we can take from the thingymebobs game is, the players and TC were brought back down to earth with an effing big wallop, and TC needs to see, learn from and change where he went wrong. For me, Burnley is a must win game......
hearing your bookie is taking the family to Disney world next week mine is taking out a second mortgage
Not really Out of the 3 games we've lost, only Wolves deserved to beat us and that was down to having 10 men. We played Forest off the park almost as much as your sorry rabble but lost - 23 shots to their 11 - they scored their only shot on target Ipswich - 23 shots to their 8 We have dominated most teams - not quite as easy as yesterday but dominated all the same. 7 or 8-0 would not have flattered us yesterday
who were you watching Hamburg ? them that you used to watch in England have lots of shots at the corner flag, but never look like scoring apart from offside shots. While the linesman will make the odd mistake if you throw bottles at him, over a season teams who can finish better will win more and the run around like headless chickens ones that shoot at the corner flags will go back down.
At least the headless chicken had a shot - the poor peacock was too busy trying to find its feathers that fell off when he saw the nasty old Lion
Well it was your cup final, but next week when your back to 50 millwall away fans or 6,000 at home and the ground has that empty echo is when you lose.
