I thought last season he did well before he got injured. This season he's only let in a penalty, albeit one he gave away. With Matthew's there I'm not overly concerned, yet.

Agree, give the kid a chance, he looked reliable enough last season, he needs game time, talk of buying goalkeepers will destroy his confidence ...no-one needs that

I’m the same he looked solid last season so I don’t wanna be writing him off after 2 games, surprised how shaky he’s looked but might just be a confidence thing knowing this is his chance to get established.

Give him a few games I say, we aren’t going to concede as many this season regardless by looks of it as defence has looked more than stable so far.

Not totally convinced by Burge but think he's adequate enough for this level. Seeing as we've already got Matthews can't see us getting another keeper in unless some incredible under-21 appears on our radar for free.

****ing hell, that website is an absolute ****. One minute you're reading about our goalkeeper, then suddenly I'm in a reticle about Steve Bruce's compensation and how richard Branston made his money.

My MacBook blocked 35 trackers trying to profile me on that site, I was only on there for 2 mins and some of the trackers were very undesirable. Be careful on sites like that.
Not 606 has 4 trackers trying to profile me, 2 facebook,1 google and 1 twitter.

Give the bloke a break I say.
Our defensive side of the team is definitely the least of my worries tbh. I think we're well off in that dept.

goalkeeper/defence rely heavily on communication, hopefully that will improve rapidly with games under their belts...would say burge should command his area better but we seem to say that about most keepers these days, seems the coaching now is to stay on the line, i think defence we are fairly ok right now.

1 striker struggling to score can be put down to him having a bad run but we have 4 that are struggling...imho this is pointing towards supply, are we providing the right type of balls for them to feed off i wonder, again, this could correct itself over games...SKP himself was hardly prolific at first but if we can continue to pick up 2 points per game until it all, hopefully, clicks into place i will take it.

he did aye...and we all thought he was going to bang them in left right and centre but he did not start that way in honesty, once he learned to read SNQ's knock ons and knock downs he really took off, in fact, once they learned each others game they both took off.
