Lose 2+ games, they proclaim a decline because the MUFC standards show that losing 2+ games in a row is a rough patch. Most teams lose 2 in a row and no one bats an eye lid. All other 19 teams give a season best performance, twice a season. Against Manchester effing United. Most recently Aston Vila put in their best shift of the season thus far in the recent 2-3 loss against MUFC despite leading by 2-0. The very next weekend they suffered the burnout effect, getting thrashed 5-0 in their very next game. This is a common trend in teams who make hay of their biggest game of the season.
