    by Sunderland AFC

    Secure your Liverpool tickets now.

Sunderland AFC will follow up their FA Cup success when they return to Barclays Premier League action this week with the visit of Liverpool FC.

The Black Cats face the Reds on Saturday 10 January, 12.45pm kick-off, at the Stadium of Light.

A bumper crowd is expected, with over 43,000 tickets sold to date and fans are urged to purchase or collect tickets in advance, where possible, in order to avoid disappointment. There will be no cash turnstiles on the day of the game, however the ticket office will be open from 10am for ticket purchases.

Supporters are advised that the ticket office, collection points and turnstiles will be very busy on Saturday and they should take this into consideration when planning their journey to the Stadium of Light.

Tickets for the clash start from just £27 for adults, £23 for over 65s, £19 for under 22s and £12 for under 16s.

Our support has been fantastic this season. we've not dropped beneath 40,000 yet. Our average is 43,079 with a 45,000 attendance this weekend, up from 41,090 at the end of last season. <applause>

Incredible numbers, and the atmosphere has been better, still not great but better.

Pal of mine has me a ticket for Celtic v Inter, I'm fascinated to experience it, and would love to see us getting behind the team like that.

We are great fans, we should be ****ing screaming about it.

Absolutely. I'd move the away fans to the other side of the upper stand. I'm a firm believer that away fans keep you on your toes and the distance between the away fans now and our loudest area is about as far away as you can get. I know some are sceptical of the theory but it can't be helping but the current set up can't be aiding the atmosphere can it? I'm in the south stand and with most teams we can't hear them and they can't hear us. The two sections should be close enough to enable back and forth imo.

Amazing to see that. Great as well. A bloke rang radio Newcastle claiming to be a SAFC fan with a ticket to give away and he said no one wanted it. Guess he asked his mag mates!! He also wanted rid of Poyet so basically I stopped listening!! Hope we hammer them. ****ing hate the bin dippers

Our support is incredible considering we're ****e, but today's attendance is only 2 thousand above average so wouldn't call it a bumper crowd. Liverpool will have sold all of their tickets and that's probably why it's 2 thousand up. Anyway hope both sets of fans have a safe journey as this wind is ****ing scary, ha'way the lads
