Be interesting to see how the young manager manages the ego that is the ****er Bullard. It will all end in tears I am sure.
I did not think there was a more annoying prat than Bullard and the frequent misleading quote that he puts out to all the clubs he has not "played"for since leaving Fulham, quote " I just want to get out there and play football" But there is and I hear it and see it written all the time we do NOT PLAY IN HUMBERSIDE BBC halfwits it was dissolved, ended many years ago. We live in Kingston upon Hull which resides in the East Riding of Yorkshire or at least East Yorkshire. Please ammend your outdated records and change the name of your radio station accordingly, thank you, Alan.
As I've said before, Bullard said in the Weir Bar whilst drunk, (cockney accent) "I ain't a footballer, I'm an entertainer". His career shows this.
I'm enjoying his steady and predictable decent to obscurity. What will be his next club do you think? I'd say Orient.
Agreed. He's just doing what he loves and getting paid handsomely for it. Who wouldn't given the chance?
I agree with ya Glen, but the fact is, every club including us that's employed him has been FULLY aware of what he was like, yet still employ him on handsome wages.
I was hoping some desperate Premier League club would take a chance on him so I could watch the comedy show. Lower tier matches are no longer available on American television.
MK Dons now have Alan Smith and Jimmy Bullard in midfield, that's one hell of a midfield. Bullard is on a season long contract, he will play well until he gets a long term one. Then he goes downhill rapidly.
Thing is, I bet the MK Dons fans (thats a laugh) are ****ing themselves off left right and centre over this signing.
Seems he never played for us...it was all a dream. The report on Skysports webpage; Former Fulham and Wigan midfielder Jimmy Bullard has agreed a deal to join Milton Keynes Dons. Free-agent Bullard becomes Karl Robinson's fifth signing this summer after finalising a deal to run until December 31. The midfielder, who left Ipswich Town by mutual consent earlier this month, follows the likes of Jon Otsemobor, Ryan Lowe, Antony Kay and Alan Smith as the Dons' mount a promotion push. Bullard began his career with Gravesend & Northfleet, before a short spell with West Ham United led to a move to Peterborough. The 33-year-old joined the Latics in 2002 where he proved vital in helping them win Division Two in his first season before becoming a key player in helping the club reach the top flight for the first time. Fulham captured the midfielder's services in a £2.5m move in 2006 and Bullard went on to spend three years with the London club, making over 40 appearances. Bullard is set to wear the number 13 shirt and will be available for selection against Carlisle United this weekend. Have his wages dropped from 40k to 4k in a year?
Is this another case of football nepotism? Below we have Jimmy Bullard, Pete Winkleman (MK Dons chairman) and Rocky Dennis. The resemblance is striking, but which is which? please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
