Right now I have mixed emotions. In some ways I can't help myself feeling like a kid sniggering in the shadows over the impending fate of Coventry City F.C. I can't help loving their demise and rejoicing at their embarrassing status (great ground / arena - nothing else).

I live where Coventry City fans also live. I have Friends who support them. Yep, I'm the prime person to hate them.

But I actually feel sorry for them right now. I really do.

If this was us we'd be gutted. Our club, on the brink again and nearly down and out. Battered and bruised from mismanagement for years and facing extinction. Yes yeh yes yeh, I hear you, they took the Pi%% when we've been low, but I personally want to be above that.

At the end of the day I want my biggest rival (and one of your biggest rivals) to survive and I want them to get stronger. Just enough that we really can properly hate each other and talk in the boozers for day after day each year about who's best.........with LCFC still winning as always....

My fingers are crossed for them anyway.

There's no motivation for me to want them to go under. Even though I want them to suffer we could only laugh at them for a short while. But then we'd realise they aren't Coventry City FC fans anymore, they're just people who used to support a football Club.

I just want them to get relegated. We can laugh at them for a lot longer then. As long as there's a team called Coventry we can always feel good about Leicester in comparison, even when times are bad!

I want to place on record that it is totally untrue that the only reason that I don't want them to go under is to save my signiture - But like Emilio I do want them to go down - playing them is not as important to me as seeing them squirm and suffer - it's a bit like pulling the legs off daddy long legs, alright we know it's wrong but you just can't stop yourself <laugh>
