Just how much were you willing it in?! Q: What's the expectation on Gerrard this season? - he says he's fitter than ever (injury wise clearly not match fitness (yet)). So what are peoples thoughts on what we might expect from him? Back to his best again? Same as pre groin injury? Like a new world class signing? 15+ goals? One thing is for sure it will lift the team and provide some much needed leadership out there I reckon. What d'ya reckon?
I hope some of the old Gerrard is back as when he was a bit younger, long range shots were always happening and those runs into the box were awesome. I think the past few years I can count on my hand the amount of times he tried a shot from distance or made a rampaging run. I just hope he can find a bit of the form we know he still has and can help settle our midfield out which seems a bit unbalanced at the moment.
Guess we will find out over the next games Good to have our Captain back though and if he is back to fitness then that is a added bonus
having had that type of surgery, it ain't pretty, got a big ass slash going from right about the belt line to right above the goods. That was for a hernia, although not sure if he had hernia or something a bit lower, either way, his mrs might be a little freaked out!
