I made the big mistake of joining Sky, just before the news came out for proper about the B.T bundle, free sports with broadband No Virgin media down at our development as yet either! Once I get the chance to escape i'll be opting for the B.T deal I think, seems like the best one, especially if you don't currently pay for Sport channels.
Amazing, I was annoyed when it seemed we had just lost the channel. Good news for those of us on Virgin.

Works for me. I don't pay for any sports channels although as a Virgin XL customer last season I did get ESPN for free. This season is even better with this BT deal. Along with the 38 premier league games there will be selected matches from La Liga, Ligue 1, Series A, The Bundesliga, and Brizilian football plus UEFA and FA cup games.
As we have Sky sports, I refuse to pay for BT Sports, not because I already have sky, but in BT's initial choices of televeised games (up to December I believe, 18 games?) they have not chosen 1 welsh team, yet have been quick enough to advertise through our letter boxes.
I've got a box of tricks that I've invested in that gives me guaranteed football streams mostly in English , it also gives about 6k films for free and foreign channels which is handy. Works over the net so as long as you got a fast connection you can use it world wide

The grey backgound box at the bottom of that screen clearly states that XL customers get BT sports "Existing customers: If you’re a TV XL customer, you've already got BT Sport. Just tune in on channels 529 – 530 and 547 - 550." I'll check it out when I get home from work...
No sky,No virgin just freeview and still got BT sports + got all the premiership games live on the internet....no need to pay sky or virgin stupid money for what you can get for free...
Home, and I can confirm that BT Sports is part of the package for XL customers... Just watched the end of "Goal" a Bundesliga football magazine program.
Yeah if you want it, it costs £300 , the guy selling it has access to streams I don't know how, but this is plugged into the hdmi socket on the TV , and wirelessly or by cat5 directly to the router. Put it this way I've watched the very latest films on it without paying anything else. It's a gamble but my brother has been using it for 6 months now
You ****ing beauty I have been cursing Branson for weeks but sat tight allowing BT to get their launch underway. I now have my Virgin TiVo XL with my Sky Sports add on. YABBADABBADOO !!! Now how many live games is that??? **** loads Mrs Swim was momentarily happy.....until the reality hit home !!
