'It's a business' and according to him it's lost it's sporting links and is now only about the money.

Convenient for him, seeing as he is part of the Football Fund and perfectly happy to be complicit in breaking FA and Football league rules about having interests in more than one club.

A once great England captain who has sold out for the money. Very sad.

Also saying that he would be more concerned about his reputation if one of the clubs his consortium owned folded, rather than being concerned about the club, the fans and those who love the game - frankly disgusts me.

Robson was a great player if a tad injury prone, who Fergie put up with because his legend status but wanted
him out the door asap so he could get rid of the Robson/McGrath/Whiteside et al drikining circle. I was never convinced that Fergie rated him that much because of this.

Robbo was not much of a manager, but he is not alone there as we simply do not produce talenetd, knowledgeable, cutting edge, successful coaches anymore who can compete with the best.

So, you were great player, didn't make it as a manager, found yourself in some footballing outpost, so the only thing you can trade on is your name, and play up your influence. Any fool would know that there is no footballing persoanlity in England who can swing a buyout deal for any medium to large size club. It just struck me as very sad, a load of blokes trying to talk big. As Ricardo Tubbs might have said, "All Flash But No Cash".

I think that documentary highlights the distinctly dodgy nature of Alex Ferguson and his band of old boys and Man United generally!
