Could you clarify exactly what your definition of a "legend" actually is please

    :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Would he be wanting too much just to be a banchwarmer ??

He was no legend, certainly not in my book anyway!

Imo he was nothing more than average... I would'nt welcome him back that's for sure. I'd prefer we concentrated on building a squad for the next three years and for me the signing of the likes of him cries short term fix.

He was a trier, maybe not an achiever....

With the rumours of our budget not being what we wished for maybe some triers is all we can expect this summer, I hope not...

Talking of achievers, saw Darren Bent play for about 30 mins 5-a-side on Thursday night at the local "Goals" with a few mates of mine, this is absolute gospel...I bet Villa didn't know, he was a true gent and spent ages signing autographs on anything before he got back in his Bentley.

Now if Darren is looking to further his career in L! I reckon we should give him a go ...!!!!!!

Was a good player and a BRILLIANT finisher! But I defo wouldnt have him back! His 33 years old playing Conference football! We need some young blood in our team, Players for the future not ''has-beens''

Hughes for me no. Not a legend more of a leg end and they're found at the the bottom of a table.

definitely not a legend but definitely a trier

he was Championship standard when we were in the Premier League and that was a few years ago now, so definitely no more than L1 standard and really not a long term solution
