Well done Stoke. Knocked the spuds another step away from the sunshine, back towards the shadows where they belong :)

Went down holding his face I WAS at the game <ok>
Then, he had the gaul too kick Shawcross and then complain to the ref.
I was ROW 12 right in front of me...

Good luck for the rest and just asking but..

Did Modric make the most of that penalty? No offence intended but I didn't get a good view at the game?

Went down holding his face when what happened, exactly?

Modric went down very easily, but I think Whelan kicked him.
His reaction to the decision says it all for me.

Make up your own mind from the clip, as there's some controversy about it.

I'm sure that you'll understand if I don't want to get into a discussion about the ref, though.
Let's just say that I think he had an off day.
Nothing to do with your team, though.
You can't do anything about that.

    That's just a blatant foul.
    Sorry.

He touches his shin yes, so yes technically it is a foul.

He goes down easier than a cheap lady of the night though, wouldn't you agree?

    Yes.
Considering Foy's rather 'erratic' decision-making today, I can understand why, though.

    Wonderful sequence here, for example:

To be fair to Foy, I think both of those decisions are the linesman's to give as the referee probably had half a dozen bodies to see through.

Should've been a penalty (probably a red card) and a goal for Adebayor no question, but I'd blame the linesman for them not being given.

Correct I didn't get a clear view so I've only just seen it... F F sake Modric.. stay on yer feet , Whelan claarly pulls his foot away <ok>

Which, Is why I heard so many fans booing the guy. Did Whelan breath too heavily? <doh>

P.S. To the Spurs fans.. do you want CROUCH back? 50 million and we'll think about it. <laugh> The guy was awesome today..

13 against 11 was always going to be a tall ask for Spurs
