Brunt is currently on loan at Stevenage until 4th Jan. However that loan spell has been cut short due to getting injured in Sundays game vs Cambridge which seen him being subbed off at half time. Stevenage manager Graham Westley said afterwards: "It was a body blow losing Brunt at half- time, he led the line well in the first half. I think he is very sore, hopefully it won't be a six to eight week lay-off but it looks like it could be." So he looks set to be out of action for 6-8 weeks. He will be back with us so paying his wages again for this period. Im sure DC would have been looking to send him out on loan again or even sell as I cant see DC wanting to keep Brunt to be honest. But this injury may effect DC's plans!!
Whatever this young man does this year, let's wish him a bit more luck for 2015 than he has had for the last two years!
