Good chance to bounce back here. Important we do, as we all know what awaits Saturday. We don't often lose two on the spin under McCarthy either so that's a good sign. As is Nouble not being in the squad :D

    Line up -

    Gerkin

    Chambers/Smith/Berra/Parr

    Anderson/Skuse/Hyam/Tabb

    Murphy/ Dids

I really hope Mings ( no offence to the lad ) is finally dropped, with Parr making his bow. Anderson had a very very good second half v Reading so deserves a start. Would like to see us sign a couple of seasoned championship defenders so Mings can get a few months under his belt. Not ready at present.

Skuse was far from brilliant vs Reading so Wordy COULD potentially come in. But I guess that could be a bit risky for an away tie. I hope Henshall is back in the squad.

    1-1 for me.

Personally Westy i hope we dont sign any more defenders, we are more than covered in defence with Chambers, Berra, Smith, Parr, Mings, Hewitt, Clarke. We need to buy/loan some creativity.

Sadly i think we will lose, which is not what we want before the sister shaggas visit us on Sat!!!

    Gerks

    Chambers
    Berra
    Smith
    Mings

    Ando
    Hyam
    Skuse
    Tabb

    Murphy
    Sammon

I think MM may use Dids in last 20 mins, resting him from Sats exertions!! BTW this is not what i want the side to be but what i think it will be.

Think we will lose 2-1 and Berra will get sent off, thus not being able to play Sat (thats the kinda luck them ****ers up the road get)

May be right re McGoldrick - but he did a hell of a lot better than Murphy Sat and hopefully can do 50 or so. He's absolutely key.

I hope you're wrong re Mings but have a horrible feeling he's going to play :(

I guess we have more cover than I thought in defence, in that Chambers can obviously play CB and Hewitt RB.

Brum won their first home since October ( god knows how they've been that crap at home ) Sat, so surely they can't win two on the spin !? :D

Is it literally just myself and my best friend ;) Spanish giving any thoughts on tonights game!?

Come on guys. We may have lost to Reading, but this is quite a significant game considering what's around the corner Saturday!

    Anyone traveling up?

I would say that either of the line ups you have both presented are pretty likely.. Anderson is bound to get the nod ahead of Hewitt, other than that it's LB that is the only question, the rest seems to pick itself.

I'm going to stick my neck out and reckon we'll win this 2-0. Goals from Anderson & Sammon (I have lost a few of you with that one)

there arent that many question marks over our starting line up really

    GK sorted
3 out of 4 defenders are almost certain to start 99% of our matches
our midfield is a little bit harder to judge but regardless of names our CM are likely to be safe and solid
if we are lucky we will go for exciting widemen but chances are it will be tabb, maybe with Anderson on the other side if we want to go crazy.
Murphy will start up front with with either Sammon or McGoldrick depending on the latters fitness.

Dont get me wrong, Im not feeling downbeat but MM hardly ever throws a suprise into out formation, set up or style so what seems like a glum post is more just an observation from past experiences.

Personally I think our squad looks more like a 352 wingback formation but unlikely too happen.

I think it will be the same team as Fulham, but swap McG for badger. Hopefully Henshsall can get some time on the pitch, as it'll be good to see how he gets on against proper teams.
    I'll go for a boring 1 all.

I’ve re-started me machine an’ I’m alright now

Mick Mills is saying we haven’t created any chances with 42 minutes played.

    I’m astonished! What a surprise!

We’ll create one after the break – it’ll be a chance an injured hedgehog could put away, but we’ll miss it. And that will be it.
