Fair play to the Geordies for winning, but in my opinion it was put on a plate for them!

We have a much stronger squad than them, but it was up to Bruce to pick a team of 11 and he failed! He insisted on sticking with the Colback whilst Gardner and Vaughan sat on the bench.
He also stuck with our 4-5-1 formation at home against a team like Newcastle which is a disgrace! He's got alot to answer for after today's performance, he may be good in the transfer market, but I have little faith in his tactics and selections!

I was convinced we would win, then the doubts crept in once i saw the line-up.

    Wrong team selection...

We already knew the mags had a pretty strong midfield, and we would need goals. So the Gardner situation was one of many mistakes made.

Ji or Connor should have been on with Gyan & Sess from the beginning. Once again SB's negativity at home is annoying.

Does he never come on these forums and learn.

.......... erm, are you guys kidding? Ji has a striker rate of less than 1 in 3 in the Korean J-League. Conner's is around 1 in 6 in the Championship. Are you saying if one of these played it would has definite different result? Gardner and Vaughan both lost out in possession when Newcastle played there respective former clubs last season. In addition, they haven't had enough time to gel.

Pathetic stuff. Colback was fantastic against Liverpool and its not like we didn't create the chances.

Wickham and ji didn't look ready yesterday, lost the ball a lot and made the wrong choices on the ball

Not for the first time Bruce's tactics and ability to think on his feet when its not working came into play yesterday. Yes it hurts more because its a derby game but thats no the point. He is just an inept ditherer and has no plan B when his plan A fails (as it so often does by the way).

If we stick with him our season will wither away like his decisions.

If we make a change, we may yet still have a really good season ahead. Martin O Neill is sitting by his phone this morning. Go on Niall, pick up the phone and rid us of this craa loving failure.

I'm pretty sure we dominated the midfield with them only playing long balls. Cattermole was shutting down everything and we caught Tiote out on his own box 3 times
