Is to saddle us with a demoralised team of canny players but with no self belief and direction. 2.5 years and we are no further forward than when Ricky Sbragia handed over the baton. For those that said give him time and he will get it right, I hope we all dont rue your support of the manager this season. His 'deputy' today and right hand man showed us all what a tosser he is too by just simply adopting the same bizarre substitutions as well. Playing well and coping in a very good game, he decided for some ****ed up crazy reason only he and his equally hapless former boss could explain, to change us form 4-4-2 back to 4-4-1-1 and use Elmo (possibly the worst player on our books imo) instead of Noble, opting instead to give him the obligatory 3 mins to save the day again.

What a pair of useless pillocks they are and we are well shot of them both. I pity the next poor set if fans that will have to have those two inflicted on them.

Our team after 5 transfer windows is so shot shy in front of goal its embarrassing. That we are relying on a loanee (who looks less and less interested by the week) and 2 EPL novices as our only strike-force and then refuse to actually play the best finisher at the club for more than 3 mins a game is a disgrace.

There were some real good performances again today and in particular the keeper - Westwood. That save was world class from Hunt and is an early contender for save of the season imo. Sessegnon is a class act but we have to keep him involved in the game for longer periods and not just let him drift in and out as he did for the second half in particular. I thought, penalty apart of course, Larsson also looks a classy player and Brown has been consistent too.

So, lets not have any sentimental tears for the former holders of the SAFC hot seat and hope and pray that Martin O Neill is everything we hope he is because like it or not, we have a helluva job ion our hands lifting this lot and making a team capable of pulling away from the drop this season. In 5 games time, MoN can begin to put right the wrongs and at least address the failings that were again so evident today. Fire power.

Its not going to be easy at all but I'm sure the new gaffer saw some little jewels he can work on this week in training and go out for his first game in charge and start the long hard uphill climb v Blackburn Rovers next Sunday.

Couldn't agree more,Cest! We were in control of the game until the penalty-miss...and those crazy Brucie -like substitutions..the quicker Black goes, the better! He has a worse record of any manager..played 1 and lost 1!!We don't want him as back-up.

I think we are gash and our only hope is the transfer window.

    Bendtner should be sent back to the emirates immediatley - he is f u c k i n g sh7t.

Our strikers were awful today, I'd drop them both if we had any other options.
Bendtners a lazy sod and ji looks out of his depth.

To be fair mate, I wouldn't wum if you lot didn't bring it on yourselves. Not all, but a lot of the lads on here thought you would steamroll Wolves because of O'Neill, something that any sane person could see was ridiculous. There was also a thread discussing how much of a disgrace Kean was for fancying Blackburn to beat you, when you had just lost at home to Wigan <doh>

OMFG Cest. You really do see anyone who doesn't agree with you as some kind of idiot, don't you?
    Remember this...

"It may be next Sunday when he officially takes the reigns at SAFC but is anyone really daft enough to believe his stamp won't be all over this team today".

Simple question. Was MON's stamp all over that crap today? Or were you infact. Wrong!

    I hate being called daft.

Got your high horse out again chum? Or do you just keep it in the corner of the room, as you use it so many times in a day?

O Neill actually came out in an interview aired today to day he wouldnt be talking to the team before the game thus rendering my thinking wrong.

    Big ****ing deal.

Its my opinion not a friggin declaration of marshall law ffs and while we are on, where the **** did I call you daft exactly?

Christ on a bike I bet your a real diamond to chill out with.

Go to Google and type in 'nutter'. That should do the trick.

Now now fellas, were on the same side, ****in chill out haha!

Basically, Bendner is a lazy selfish ****! Brown makes loads of mistakes and seems to think hes still got a Man Utd 10 around him to mop up his ****! Ji is a non starter so better off sending him back to Korea to do his national service, might bulk him up a bit! Apart from that there were some possitive signs today and i have NO doubt what so ever that O`neill will sort this bunch of lazy losers out or otherwise peddle them and get the kind of players in that all Sunderland fans like to see! Hard working passionate "have a go" types!

The future is good i recon but we have to beat Blackburn next week surely FFS!

Thought Larsson was **** today and in most games also. Great at dead ball situations (except the pen) but does very little in between. Top GS fair enough but someone tell me what he does in between corners, free kicks (and pens) LOL
