After the Orient match and Rotherham in the league cup, didn't you expect this wouldn't be any different?

Fair play to you for coming to the match, but we very rarley care about it to be honest.

Pretty sure Steve Bruce has never asked anyone to spend twenty quid in any pub.

What do you expect him to say?
Your £20 on tickets goes towards the massive cost of running the club, which, and this might come as a surprise to some, is losing money every week.
If he wasn't interested in the FA Cup Steve Bruce would not have fielded half of those players that he did yesterday.
Give Barnsley a bit of credit too, they are in a good run and rode their luck yesterday and scored from the only chance they had.
We lost 1-0, big deal, and we've saved ourselves a trip to Milton Keyes, hardly the best Cup draw in the competition.
Promotion is the aim and when a club is losing cash on a daily basis as we are, and are financed by a private concern, not a syndicate or a board of directors sharing the costs, signing players for millions of pounds is not easy when we have 'supporters' whinging about spending £20 on match tickets and crowds are dropping.
What happened to simply supporting the club?

I'm sorry but you really should be able to figure out that the FA Cup was never going to be a priority.

It shouldn't be top priority, but we should actually TRY to go on a good cup run, maybe cause an upset and get as far as we can in the competition. This year was a real chance for us to get to the last 8 or maybe even 4. It's depressing that we just can't be arsed to give it a go. Such a waste of a weekend. Hardly as if there's fixture congestion either.

I went to watch a movie, paid 8 dollars for a tickets and 12 dollars for refreshments. The movie was terrible. I wish the movie theatre's manager would've told me that when I was about to pay for a movie ticket. It would've saved me 20 dollars.

So that makes it right? It's about time we competed at everything - it did us no harm in 2008/9
