If Niall gave you the call to fill in for Bucey for the City game and assuming we have all our injured back, what would you do? Do you go 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2. How about in goal? A back 4 to select then the big question of midfield. If I could I think I would like, GORDON NED...TURNER...BRAMBLE..BARDSLEY SESS..CATTS..MUNTARI..STEED GYAN..WELBECK But then again, do I want Henderson on the wing, Richardson in, what about Elmo, then there is Campbell. Lets hope Niall loses my phone number.
GORDON NED..MENSAH..BRAMBLE..BARDSLEY HENDERSON..CATTS..ZENDEN..SESS GYAN..WELBECK I think we have all them, match fit for citeh
I'd be happy with that team Syd, we've played our best attacking football with Gyan & Wellbeck up front. Also think the Man City game would be too much for Henderson, they've got some big players in midfield and he couldn't cope with Liverpool's weakened midfield.
I've been away a while but have read the pages when IO've been able.... I personally would play - Gordon - Mignolet Onuoh - Turner - Mensah - Bramble - Ferdinand - Bardsley (flat back six) Henderson - Sessegnon - Cattermole - Steeeeed - Zenden - Muntari Campbell - Richardson Gyan - Welbeck Not wishing to be doom and gloomy but I truly feel that fielding eighteen players at once will give us a huge edge over the opposition. The only drawback is I feel the midfield maybe a little overcrowded.... If we play this system to the end of the season I fully expect European football.
Swansea - I'm with you, mate. Excellent idea. Seriously, the only way we'll get anything from City is to attack them. It's no good hoping the likes of Tevez won't score - his fabulous miss at SoL will NOT be repeated. City have goals in them, but they do concede. We have to think positively and attack that defence. If we're going to play one up front, we might as well not turn up.
I would make one change and that would be malbranque out(of the club preferably) GORDON NED...TURNER...BRAMBLE..BARDSLEY SESS..CATTS..MUNTARI..RICHARDSON GYAN..WELBECK and richardson in. In the summer you can see we need a new left side and striker with out a doubt
I would go with... Mignolet Onuoha - Turner - Bramble - Richardson Henderson - Cattermole - Muntari - Sessegnon Gyan - Welbeck subs: Bardsley, Mensah, Gordon, Zenden, Elmohamady, Malbranque, Campbell
gordon onuoha turner bramble bardo henderson catts zenden ricco wellbeck gyan the team that gave us the result of the season
Thats the team for me Zendens much better all round than Steed, but i would start with Eimo instead of Henderson, as he has been off the boil for months now.
Good to se how many till rate Gordon at numer 1. Surprised at the Bardo ommission. We all want a Gyan/Welbeck strike force.
