A betting advisor just announced he's gone. It's doing the rounds. Reckon it'll be stated either way within the hour.

Confirmation that Steve Bruce has left Sunderland. Hopefully some money to be made in the 'next manager betting'. #Sunderland #Stevebruce

Tell me truthfully, didn't think this was worth a thread of it's own : are you really gutted at how your club are doing, or more bothered how far behind NUFC you are? Would you feel the same if we were on 8 points, for example?

I've got 150 quid riding on him to go. Newcastle are doing brilliantly, they're playing well. They deserve to be where they are. We're playing ****e, we deserve to be where we are.

This couldn't have less to do with Newcastle but thank you for once again mentioning Newcastle needlessly on our board.

Also... Not worth a thread but worth a reply? Hmmm.

Physioroom , who are normally very reliable , have also said that Bruce is gone.

Your dream might just become a reality...

Caulkin on the otherhand says nothing is happening today and the board had not even had a meeting yet.

If you lot were on 8 points, we would still be under-achieving. Nothing to do with you lot, but hey, you have to be on here, don't you.

settle yourself bobby, I made my judgement on some of the obsession with being top north east dogs amongst a lot of Sunderland fans, I thought it was a reasonable query.

No, I really want my club to do well. Newcastle's performance is secondary to that, I admit it's a bit irritating to see you so high up, but it's something I can respect. You're playing well, not getting up there with mediocre performances. But the mags are of secondary importance to me, the most important thing is that we can finally get this season running.

Don't get me wrong Cheik. I hate that you beat us, I hate your points this season. It doesn't help my savoir-faire, but it isn't what is ruffling me feathers.

Its Bruce getting away with murder - murder of my club. Everyone can see it except those in power.

    This is awful.

Maybe they can see it. We'll know by Saturday, at the most (hopefully!)

Jersey, my young friend, Saturday is another game wasted, 3 points more lost? Bottom 3?

Well, there's nothing we can do about it. As Epicurus taught, there's no point in worrying over what you can't control, you'll just make yourself feel **** <ok>

Strong rumours that Owen Coyle could be sacked tomorrow morning before Bruce leaves.

Well, the word epidural stems from epicurus, seeing as he was the original promoter of getting rid of suffering.
