I know he was **** for you last season but he did score 12 (14 in all) for Swansea the season before, which isn't at all bad for a promoted side.

It could be that it just didn't work out for him with you, and with all due respect he wasn't really joining a free-scoring side.

I'd think it will depend on the style of football you play. Evidently he flourished in a possession game at Swansea, but he isn't at all good in a direct (not hoofing) counter-attacking set-up.

 

I'm hardly excited over the prospect but the majority of you told us Elmo was **** and he was great for us, sometimes it just doesn't work out for players at certain clubs.

 

Aye, but Elmo was class in the championship.

Having seen him play is the prem for 2 years I wouldn't bank on him being very good this season. But you never know!

I'd agree. It's not like he wasn't given any service to score for us because he was. Could have scored at least 5 goals for us but he missed everything.

He's not mobile enough to miss so many chances, as unless you're absolutely dominating someone he won't get many chances

Danny didn't just suddenly become ****, there was some (probably high...) people suggesting him for England a year ago, he has a good goals per game record, and he isn't '****'.

He should never have signed, we didn't want him, and he came here unfit, making us dislike him, after 5-6 games, he gave up, and exasperated the issue.

He is clearly better than any striker Hullhave, and I reckon he'd get 10-12 down there, which is decent enough.
