Alreet lads and lasses. Just watched the Man Utd dominatrix game of poor old Arsene (couldn't feel sorry for the sour faced, poor loser french ****er mind) and seen the Citeh scoreline as well after. Arry and Arsene both walloped out of sight. What a great day. Seeing the sad (pissing myself really) plight of the 2 Norf Landan 'giants' today makes me feel a little better to be a Sunderland fan this afternoon and I have decided to offer some generosity based thoughts towards our own beleaguered manager too. Its fairly obvious he isn't going to be sacked, even if we lose the next 2 or 3 games on the belt. He is here now until at least Christmas so lets get on with it. Scenario A: Bruce pulls off the 2 transfer coups of deadline day and gets in at least one quality striker and a wide left player. If O Shea stays fit, I'm more than happy to see Bardsley at LB and OS at RB for the rest of the season so if no LB brought in I can live with it. With the addition of some much needed fire power, we can go on and get our season going with games against Stoke, Norwich, WBA, Bolton and Villa. Chelsea and Arsenal (despite today's result) will be very difficult but the other 5 games are ones we could get a healthy return in. By the end of October, Bruce could have weathered a storm, turned a corner, steadied the ship and kick started the campaign. I'm sure that even ardent Bruce detractors will be satisfied with that outcome. The alternative scenario? For the purposes of the positive thread, lets leave this one in the box until it actually happens and then we can all fall out afterwards discussing it. Lol We NEED Bruce to get his finger out of his arse and actually 'DO' something about our situation. If he does we can all discuss something else for a welcome change. If he doesnt then I think Mr Short will change that discussion for us. Until then, lets stop falling out and start to discuss some good things. Even I'm getting fed up of the negative **** storms blowing about daily on here between us all. 13 or 14 points by the end of October and were off and running big time and a new striker with 4 or 5, or 6 goals to his name, would be a huge welcome bonus. FTM
Right own up! where has the other Cestria gone? This post will certainly confuse the hell out of Billo and Bobby.. Good post mate, and any more like it and you will be classed a BIB..
Quality post Cest. Was very pleased to see Norf Laandan teams get stuffed. Lets hope we can kick start our season by taking something from the Chelsea game - will be tough but we always seem to rise to the occasion against the big teams.
See, its what some of us have been saying for weeks, welcome to the land of BiB Cest, do you want a badge?
If I can just get out of this ****ing straight jacket I'll be fine. Lol Not BIB by any stretch. Still a confirmed BOB but realistic now to accept he aint going anywhere before Christmas so in-fighting about it is pointless. Better we just hope he can turn things round before the whole situation gets any worse. I'll be trawling the websites and SSN to see who these supposed 2 top players are over the next 3 days and will be happy as ever to offer my 10 penneth worth afterwards. Now, where are these buckles fastened..........lol
Always said whilst Bruce is manager I'm all for him proving me wrong, no ones bigger than my team. I just wish he would show more bottle! (Bloody hell who would have thought anyone could say that about Bruce "I'll put me face where you wouldn't but your boot." ) As a NE lad, he has to realise, we will give 100% backing for 100% effort. I for one wouldn't be so upset now, if those first few results had come from us being more positive. Still time Brucey, if we aren't playing the top 4 lets go out to win matches not snatch something on the break.
