    Load of crap.

Bruce won't be sacked, even if we do finish 20th.

He is. He might even be the safest. Allams aren't stupid enough to fire him, they know how good he is and that we are much better with him here.

A lazy article regurgitating old crap and posted by a site that's seen our part of the official supporters groups?

He should be one of the safest jobs but it isn't about whether the Allams are stupid. That's not what they base their decisions on. They sacked Barmby on a whim and could do the same thing with any other manager.

They sacked Barmby for reasons way beyond a whim. One of the best decisions they made too.

Hickman: based in Newcastle, supports Wolves.
Wragg: based in Midlands, supports Villa.

Looks like the southern press will have to join the queue.

What a load of bollox..If anything Bruce will be the last manager to be sacked. There are a load more likely to go before him e.g.. Big Sam at West Ham, Jol at Fulham, Hughes at Stoke, Martinez should Everton get off to a poor start, Rogers at Lpool, and that's without thinking about it...More crap from the press.

My tip would be Rodgers at Liverpool if things don't start right.

Poorly written article from a contrived viewpoint by someone not willing to lend his real name to it.

Gotta wonder what this guy's agenda is really, dont you?

Bookies have bruce well down the order in the sack race - a fact this "article" ignores, instead quoting two rather obscure hacks who he's obviously trawled the internet to find.

Shambles of a piece, every way you look at it.

Says more about the limitations of the author than it does about the fabricated issue it purports to discuss.

    A bit sad really.

Logic dictates that the 3 teams most likely to go down, together with those with unrealistic expectations (Liverpool perhaps - title/champions league) or daft owners (Blackburn - couple of years back) will head the bookies list of managerial casualties - Martinez at Wigan was always there each season despite the fact that the more knowledgeable football fans would have known he was one of the safest due to the often publicly stated attitude of his chairman ... so frankly it is what is to be expected by the bookies ...

People like Phil McNulty on the BBC site has tipped your club to finish bottom and the bookies will, to some extent, be influenced by such prominent 'pundits' ...

Comfort yourselves with the fact that none of them tipped Wigan to win the FA Cup (even when it was a two horse race in the final!) ... and that in Swansea's first season up a TalkSport pundit labelled them a 'pub team' and said they would be straight back down ... which shows how little research he had done because they had played excellent 'purist' football in their promotion season under Brendan Rodgers...

Personally I think it will be tough for you - certainly improved by the recent signings - but if your 'best XI' stays fit (which I think is key) you have more than just a 'fighting chance' ... and Bruce definitely won't be the first managerial casualty in the Prem this season.

Sincerely wanting you to stay up - so wishing you the best of luck...
