    I'm clinging on the straw that we sign the lad, cos he's mint.

    I think the current squad is capable of a top half finish and hopefully beating the mags but with a few careful aquisitions it could acheive so much more this season, however there is still plenty room for improvement for the next few transfer windows (Left wing/Left back/Strikers).

    "I don't know where the Kranjcar thing came from. I have seen quotes from his agent - certainly, I have not spoken to Kranjcar's agent, so I don't really know where that has come from."

    Clever lad Brucie and quite right to tell the the truth then.

    Let's juust say that a while ago he approached Quinny and said, "I would love that lad up here, either on loan or on a 4 year contract, I'll keep out of the way and leave the business side to you, just let me know when all parties have agreed."

    This would account for Brucies spin talk !

    to be honest usually Brucie comes out and says we are not interested in a player if talk like this builds up

    in this case he has not ruled out signing Kranjcar


    Hopefully we can bring him in even if its not untill the end of the transfer window

    I agree Poolie, It's like when Fergie was asked on MOTD if there was going to be any more transfer activity at the club (alluding to Sneijder) Fergie, point blank, said - "NO !"

    ......I bet they do still get their man !

    If you remember we denied that we were in for N'Zogbia then once he had gone to Villa we said we had tried to get him but the price was too much in the end.

    Let`s just hope SB is not spending too much time on this right at the mo and is concentrating on Saturday - let the commercial guys sort any deal out (if there is one to be done) but no distractions please....but it would be lovely to land him

    He&#8217;s playing games for sure. Kranj&#269;ar will be high on Bruce&#8217;s list for sure no matter what so whatever some think of Bruce, he&#8217;s NOT a complete fool & even if he doesn&#8217;t proceed in the end he&#8217;ll have had a dam good look.
