@bbcburnsy: Steve Bruce heading to France with #hcafc officials to sign player(s). I'm far from sure who but the next tweet will havemy punts....

Sorry for new thread, couldn't be arsed to sieve through the rest

@bbcburnsy: .....and my #hcafc punts are Jonathan Mensah and Mohammed Rabiu at Evian and Morgan Amaltifano at Marseille. Could be any or none of above!

Interesting language. He didn't say try, so it sounds like the bidding process has been done already. He also said 'players' so I'm guessing more than one is coming in?

We need another defensive midfielder. I was worried when Meyler went down in the first half.

To be honest, I don't think Meyler is the best for that role in front of the CB's - he makes a few too many mistakes in that position for my liking. I like Meyler, just not sure about him as our most defensive midfielder.

Was he, **** face, I didn't see Burnsy using the word "some" either, so I asked a perfectly reasonable question and expected a reasonable answer from Tommy, not a sarcy comment from a bumhole like you.

But thanks for clearing it up - assuming you are right.

    He's not daft old Brucie.

I'm fairly certain he doesn't HAVE to go there to do this, but with a small entourage a couple of days in Francais could be a bit of a jolly...

It certainly isn't bollocks, you do get better value abroad, I paid the equivalent of £1.20 for a bottle of red that I have to pay £10.50 for in Waitrose.

As Deano said "Meyler couldn't tackle a fish supper" couldn't have summed it up better
