plain and simple our depth of squad isnt good enough god day fellow mackems well today is 4th round of the f.a cup, anyone going to the match? no because we were knocked out by the mighty notts co. s.b took the gamble and gave some squad players a go, it didn't work, fair play to him its his decision. im not saying it was the wrong decision but it proves that we have a good first team, but not a strong enough squad. we need a strong squad, which he is trying to build, but unless several of the squad are replaced by better quality, next year and the year after and we could lose half of our first choice 11 (if we get these new sighnings) to the african cup for a month, could a team similar to the fa cup team manage a month of first team action and be relied on? so lets ponder on another years fa cup run over, and wonder why rant over, thanks
totally agree, if and i mean if we did qualify for europe you need a good squad to be able to cope with playing in another competition
