Just paper talk? He can't do that. He'd be like Hitler without owning a bunker. Surely he won't take the easy way out? Stay and fight on Steve. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
Its not even believable paper talk. The reason I say that is Bruce leaving would be bigger news than Jelly or our other strikers being up for sale. If he really was going to leave us it wouldn't be two short sentences hidden at the bottom below photos at the end of an article that is only talking about our strikers being for sale.
Why would he put a retained list out if he wanted to leave, I would have thought he would have left already if he was going too.
I was all for giving him a chance to take us back up, but after his actions in the past few days I'd be more than happy to see him go.
I believe Bruce is too honourable just to wlk out. He has had offers (allegedly) but stuck with Hull City for which he deserves credit. Whether he should go is a different matter. I believe in loyalty until loyalty becomes an untenable position. Whether we have reached that situation with Bruce, I am undecided at the moment.
Jela, N'Doye aren't up for sale either, they just want to leave. They've just copied one of Burnsy's tweets but ignored the other
So, which sources do you believe? The DM is normally one of the more accurate papers on football matters. A reason their sports writers have won many sports journalism awards.
In all seriousness, regarding Jelavic, who in their right mind would sign a 29 year old striker with knackered knees? (Apart from us!) I think Jelavic owes us a season to get us out of the **** after being "sick note" for 1/2 of last year.
I don't like the term "sick note" it seems to imply it's the players fault he was injured, or maybe that he was acting. Jelavic clearly isn't that type of player.
I don't know what is happening in the background, but if we have a manager that is determined to stay put, and put right the wrongs of the last two years, then I would hope that he would have what it takes to convince players we need to stay put with him; his biggest test is Chester, as losing him will only compound the stupidity of letting Rosenior and McShane walk away from us. I also wonder, if when everything is done and dusted, he will still be praising the owners in such lavish terms.
People have gone over board with the releasing of Macca & Rosey. The whinging really is dull as ditch water now. Can't see much in all these Bruce leaving rumours.
