Elmo gets really annoyed every game when someone plays a wrong pass mostly, I got annoyed with Rosenior a lot on Saturday to be fair, he wasn't great.
Yes, he was but I'm not going to pretend he was brilliant because he was playing out of position, I'm sure if it was a player people like to moan about e.g Alex Bruce, Proschwitz. Then it would be a different story.
Brady was much better in the second half on Saturday, I wouldn't be surprised if he got the nod tonight.
Bruce will probably get injured again (like every game) and get the whole 'he's like his mother' treatment from Steve on Humberside.
He was definitely one of our better players on saturday, Steve has to seriously consider it in place of Rosey. I would give Evans the nod in midfield as well ahead of Oli and Meyler, neither of them have really done it over the last few games.
Because of the height issue against Brum, but then when Oli had an appalling game I'm not sure why he then started against Burnleh. Evans to start and Meyler to come on hopefully.
Oli started because he was part of a winning starting 11 that scored 3 goals in the first half against brum, despite contributing **** all to any of them, or much else for that matter. Some things Bruce has done have impressed me but by far the thing that really pisses me off is his unwillingness to change a winning team at all no matter how **** anyone plays.
Most of them were poor on saturday to be fair. Good to see like as it shows that they care about the club. After the arguments that Peter Schmeichel and Gary Neville used to have during games for MU then Rosie and Elmo's was a love in. Rosie deserves a one game rest as he has been playing injured for a while. Oli should be dropped to the bench. I would go with Brady on the left and Evans for Oli. THE REST need to put right what they did wrong against Burnley imo. That was a strange one as Oli hardly went near Zigic all game. Aniother minor SB cock up on team selection imo.
If that's the case, you wonder why Evans was dropped in the first place. This is the whole point. If the manager makes statements that outline his philosophy that the shirt has to be "Won" and players have to wait their chance, blah, blah, blah then they have to live up to those statements otherwise it builds resentment in the squad. I can accept that Olofinjana was splayed against Brum for tactical reasons but after a woeful performance when the rest of the side performed well, to keep him in the team ahead of the in form Evans for Burnley, was simply barmy!
To bring a premier league midfielder in on loan and not start him against a team 2nd in the league would be barmy
Meyler has yet to earn a starting place. It has to be Evans for Oli on form alone. Evans was playing great pre-Blues game.
On paper, that makes sense. But his performance from the bench against Burnley says otherwise. Give Evans the chance, it's been a while.
