Apparently Bru is set to sign new 2 yr contract and Newcastle have had a 4 Million offer for mings turned down!! Very happy with both bits of news!!
4 million, are they taking the piss. for me jury still out on Bru,or am i missing something with him.
Bru certainly looks like a half decent player with a good all round game, I think with a decent run in the side he could really grow into an important player for us. That pass he put through for albeit an offside Hunt the other day was exceptional. It's nice to see one of our midfielders with a bit of something about him other than being tenacious and he looks to make things happen
Bru is a good squad member for sure, if not a starter. I'm happy we're rewarding him with a new contract. I'm not sure Bajner will get the same though. Listening to Mick's interview on Ipswich Player he said something along the lines of "It's really worked for Bru, not so much for Bajner" Read into that what you will but it was in response to a question about giving Bru a contract and I took it in the context that Bajner hadn't done enough. I could be wrong of course.
He will be quiet tonight considering one of his 'fantastic support' decided to run on the pitch and start throwing punches at the florist players!

Missing something - Bru has been a great signing. Workrate so high, distance run high class on the ball very calm improving week on week. Needs to add some goals/ assists to play though, but sign him up. Who is the club that's bid £4 mill ?
Newcastle Westy. I wasn't dissing Bru at all I just hadn't seen that much from him in the limited views I've had. But general concensus is he shows great promise and if that's coming from those that have seen more than me of him then that'll do to sway me.
Bru is a definate plus for us, I was unsure about him until Wednesday night, he had so much poise about him and always looking for that 1 special pass added with terrific workrate. He could be a real gem!
