Stevie Brown has got the asst managers job at Dover. His boss is Nicky Forster. They replace Paul Hayes' brother Martin who was sacked earlier this week. Good luck to the pair of them, especially Brownie who is a Charlton Legend !

This is hardly a step forward for Brown. He was youth coach at Charlton and reserve team manager at West Ham. And wasn't he youth team coach at Brighton, too? What happened to that?

Nice for him to get a part-time job to fit in with his media work but hardly first step up the stairs to major team management.

Yes does seem a rather odd move for Brownie

Gus gave him the bullet at Brighton where he was youth team boss, so I guess he is happy to at least keep a foothold in the industry that he clearly loves. Will also give him the opportunity to look around for something maybe in the football league at the same time.
