Given the recent sad news that Trundle posted about his friend, I thought I was going to recieve some bad news today. As you are aware, I'm a Mechanic in a tight community. I'm not from the village where I work, but have gotten to know alot of the locals. One in particular, Ron, a 87 year old fit as a fiddle cricket fan, likes a good laugh, and has become a Jack since meeting me. Everytime he comes in, we discuss the previous games and have a good old laugh. Two weeks ago, one of his rams headbutted his knee. It became swollen, but he thought nothing of it. Yesterday, he was in pain with his knee and his wife called a doctor to come out as he coudn't walk. The paramedics arrived, and begin to asses his knee. He then suffered a major heart attack and died instantly. Luckily, the paramedics brought him back and kept his heart beating until the air ambulance arrived. Turned out the knee had a clot, which released and blocked the main artery to his heart. Luckily, the paramedics were there when it released. He came around at 3.36am, and the first thing he asked? How did the bloody Swans do. Really did bring a tear to my eye when his wife came to tell me.
Pass him on our our wishes Chico. Then tell him to go out and shoot the bloody ram, for making him miss the Swans game.
