What an achievement I remember being on old 606 boards on BBC when Brown & Thomson looked like leaving hibs. We all remember the songs sung about Brown by them lot, and whilst I thought he was decent I always thought it was Thomson we should have got as Lennys legs were going and he seemed the perfect replacement and Brown to them made sense to give them some legs next to Ferguson. TBH I was scratching my head when we signed him as per above. Obviously decent player but at that time I couldn't see where he would fit in especially the money we spent at the time. Been a few times a good few years back when it looked like I was right but got to put my hands up and say he's been absolutely magnificent for us. Totally different team without him and I honestly think he'll be the hardest player we've had to replace since hence. Considering some of the injuries he's played through as well as personal **** he's done well to reach this milestone. From a celtic point of view I hope he retires from international football to prolong his career with us.
He's ****e, make no mistake. Sad indictment of Scotch football that this passes itself off as a 'baller. Say it all when Gordon Strapon says he'll be remembered for his stare Glaiket shark headed Neanderthal. ftp guise
Yer right Brum. Playing through injury has at times made him look poor. We are seeing right now how good he is. Being captain for the start of our infinity in a row team gives him legendary status.
