Brooklyn Beckham swaps QPR and Manchester United for Fulham Sue Denim Profile Pic written by Sue Denim 16 hours ago United legend's famous son back in west London to train with Cottagers. After trials at Manchester United and QPR came to nothing, Brooklyn Beckham is reported to have trained with Fulham last week as he looks to follow in his famous fatherâs footsteps. According to the Daily Express, Brooklyn, son of the Manchester United legend David, trained with the Cottagers last week before playing in a friendly match on Sunday. The 14-year-old, the eldest of Beckhamâs four children, trained with United last month but was not offered a deal, and was also passed up by Fulhamâs west London neighbours QPR. At Rangers, Brooklyn trained alongside Dennis Wiseâs son Henry, with the two playing alongside one another for the Under-14s side in September, while Brooklyn also had trials at Chelsea. The teenager faces a tough task to emulate his father: David Beckham scored 85 goals in 394 appearances for Manchester during his illustrious United career, winning six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, the Champions League and an Intercontinental Cup. Brooklynâs younger brother, Romeo, has also trained with Arsenalâs academy.
I think he is looking at Foolham because he wants to break into their first team in League one in 3 or 4 years! Manure or QPR would be more difficult in the Prem. Good thinking, silly name, Brooklyn.
He wasn't good enough for us apparently. Romeo is the potential star but try playing football in front of 50 thousand with that name!!
So Chelski, ourselves and Man U have all decided that he is not good enough and that his name is not enough to secure a contract so he is now trying Fulham. Interesting story in the press today that there is a row between Jol and his academy staff that he is not prepared to give any of their youngsters a shot at the first team. Probably only a temporary issue as Jol will soon be looking for alternative employment. If Fulham reject him too where will he turn next, Brentford?
Young Brooklyn has the best of both worlds a son of a famous singer and a top footballer, the trouble is he sings like his dad and plays football like his mum.
Fixed, we dont know if David can sing or not. It would be a circus wherever he is, so its best to steer clear unless hes going to be a top player.
We will sign Beckham Jnr from Liverpool at some point in the future when he is 33yrs old, past his best and looking for a last pay day!
Brooklyn Beckham swaps QPR and Manchester United for Fulham A bit of a misleading title methinks, Brooklyn didn't swap ****, doesn't sound like he had a choice as QPR and utd both passed.
It would take about 7 seconds in South Africa Rd to find someone who would have him in the team over Karl Henry.
