The hammer has signed a new 1 year deal to remain with Rovers. Ward said: "Fabian earned himself the opportunity of a new deal by making enough appearances last season. It is great news for us because I think Fabian really has a lot to offer us going forward. The demands are very different to those he would have faced at the level he was playing at in Germany, but he learned a lot very quickly and has certainly become a stronger player for the experience of last season. There is a bit of naivety about him because he is still learning, but I am excited when I think about the potential he has. It is now my job and that of my coaching staff to see if we can coax that out of him over the next 12 months.â Higgs said: âI am glad to see Fabian back, and I hope he can continue the progress he made with us last season. Fabian showed us what he was capable of last season, and we hope to see more of that over the next year.â What do you think?
Pleased. He's still 'work in progress' but he's got skill, pace and a good attitude. Another building block in place.
