I have switched to Sky broadband and im having problems with You tube ect freezing or the wee white circle timer thinky coming on all the time.

Do any of you know why this happens as Sky says its just a "warming up" problem. And it should sort itself out soon.

Its doing my nut in and i need amo to go on the phone to these ****s and read the riot act.

Virgin is more expensive but far superiour. Although I have never had it myself I have heard some horror stories about Sky.

If it's new than it takes a few weeks to settle down, Sky are pretty good speedwise, just have a little patience.

Sky Atlantic : A one hour episode of anything consists of 6 x five minute ad breaks. Thank the great magnet for Sky+ fastforward. <ok>

Sky in general is getting more like the US networks where a 40 minute episode lasts twice that with ad breaks <grr>
