So we all seem happy with September 14th, so what are we going to do? A pre-match toast to the doyen of this forum is a given and will be all that some can do, but others have expressed a wish for more. Nuts asked about a 5-a-side match - anyone else interested? How about continuing after the match? That could be a few quiet drinks, or an organised dinner - however I want to make it perfectly clear now that I’m not spending the night down the pub with a bunch of Irishman; my liver would not be able to cope. The floor is open, all thoughts welcome.

I resemble that remark. Col will kick my arse with one hand. I'm not nearly at his level. I'm going to try and convince him to play pool instead. Pints and pool are a great combination. I think a lot of people will have to put a huge effort into getting there for match day. We now all have months to get planning permission from the other half. I would love to meet again after the match and have a few shandys. Don't worry Roller, we'll take it nice and handy🍻🍻🍻🍻🎱💣
Me and Will can do before and after............other half and step-daughter will say hello before popping off to Westfield. They'll be happy to stay there after the game too, or come and join us, depending on whether there are other partners there or not. Could make it quite a family day, although I understand that it's more a lad's get together (and Beth!!). Food afterwards could be a good shout Roller. What about a video of the R's greatest moments? (Won't take long I know) Nuts....you'd probably hammer me at either snooker or pool mate. I haven't played snooker for years and my eyes are nearly 52 years old now!! Still......I'd be up for either. 5 - a - side game? Again, I'd be up for that and Will was positively salivating at the prospect of running rings around us all!! Sounds like a great day. 5 a side also sounds good. I play every now and again with people from uni and love it - i'm not very good though!
I'd be up for a before and after, although The 5-a-side is probably out due to the advancing years, dodgy knees and not forgetting the beer gut! I'll have to stay in London anyway as trying to back to where I live after 8 o'clock in the evening is almost impossible. Meal, more beer, I'm easy, you've probably heard the rumours!

I'd love to be there, and will if I get all things sorted out, and have some spare change to make the trip. With the house being renovated after suffering water damage in bathroom, I'm not sure I can afford it at the moment, but everything is possible. Would also love the idea of 5 a side, and up for anything you come up with.
I think a gathering of all the RRRs fan brought together by this board, that Brixton nurtured, is the finest tribute that we can give the man....and for his family to see this group of friends...that Brixton introduced to each other...will be wonderful
I can do before. Happy to drink, chat and watch Nuts and Cols shoot pool, but sadly my 5 aside days are behind me too - but as a spectator, no problem
I'm in! Finally sorted a few things. Flight and hotel booked I'm up for whatever to majority and organisers decide. Dinner after the match sounds great imo.
Good man Norway, we might see the return of the 'famous four' again. I know CORKeR is coming. Not sure about Ciarrai as yet.
