In week 3 we lost at home to Ipswich and the 1-0 score-line was correctly predicted by Didley and Stan. These two were also joint top scorers with 12 points, followed by Sooper with 11.

Stan has opened up a 5 point lead at the top of the table.

Well, it’s been a strong start to the season, but it’s early doors, won’t get carried away. This is a marathon not a sprint. Who knows whether the quality of guessing will be maintained on a cold night in Stoke? Or if QPR start to win. Or even draw. It’s where we are next May that matters, not August.

But all in all, at the end of the day, I’ll respect all the other top, top guessers in this league, we’ve all trained hard for this season and I’m sure everyone’s putting 110% in, leaving everything on the keyboard, week in week out. It’s a rollercoaster, we’ll take it one game at a time, you can only beat what’s in front of you, but some of these lads never know when they’re beaten and are ready to dig deep, put it in the mixer and hope the results go their way.
